I went to a Staples Store today (September 1) to shop for gift cards for tomorrow Labor Day Holiday sale. My target was Nordstrom and Options Gap gift cards. Unlike specific gap brand gift cards which can be used for only one Gap brand option purchases , Options Cards can be used for purchases at Old Navy, Banana Republic, GAP, Piperlime and Athleta. So I would not be restricted to shop at only one store.
I purchased total $100 value Option Cards, surprised to find out $10 off for each $50 purchases on Option card purchases.
I googled and found the promotion at Staples. Although the promotion says "one offer per customer", apparently I received two $10 today from the same transaction of $100. (My receipt is too long. The second $10 discount is not shown in the photo above.)
Promotion runs from September 1 to September 7, 2013. It applies for GAP, Old Navy, Options Card, not sure about Banana Republic.
20% discount on top of any purchases including clearance sale is a nice gift from Gap and Banana Republic, not to mention the additional 5x Ultimate Reward points by using Chase Ink card to purchase the Options GAP gift card at Staples.
