- Ocean-front 2-bedroom 2-bath villa in the new Hyatt Ka'anapali Beach (the name of the residence club is confusing)
- For 5 nights stay, $995 includes tax, resort fee and parking fee
- Receive 10,000 Hyatt Gold Passport Bonus Points
Minimum annual household (couple) income requirement is $120,000. The promotion also requires mandatory attendance to a 90-minutes timeshare presentation. We decided to accept this promotional offer and luckily found another exciting couple to split the cost. So Isa and I will pay only $500 for our ocean-view bedroom for 5 nights. I used my 100k AA miles to redeem two round-trip flight tickets from San Jose Airport to Kahului Airport (OGG) with return flights in first-class seats.
This Hyatt Maui promotion is targeted. For public promotions, the following is what I know.
A. Hyatt Maui from Costco Travel
Our exciting couple friends have had a vacation at Hyatt Maui early this year, and was aggressive to ask Hyatt to match Costco Hyatt Maui offer ($399 for 5 nights at Hyatt Regency Maui). Hyatt Residence Club was willing to match the price. Costco Travel may offer that Maui deal again.
B. Hyatt Regency Maui Offer - 1-bedroom suite $219 per night for 5 nights
see http://www.hyatt.com/hvc/en/properties/kaanapalibeach/mauiweboffer.html
C. Hyatt Ka'anapali Beach Offer - 2-bedroom 2-bath villa $599 per night for 5 nights
see http://www.hyattresidenceclub.com/hvc/en/properties/kaanapalibeach/mauiweboffer.html
D. Chase Hyatt Credit Card with two free nights at Hyatt Worldwide
see https://creditcards.chase.com/credit-cards/hyatt-card.aspx
A couple with two Chase Hyatt Credit Cards would have four nights free. Make sure each person applies the credit card separately without listing the other person as joint card/account owner or authorized user in order to be qualified for the free hotel offers. We did not apply for this Chase Hyatt card because we would like to save the four-nights for other trips.
A nice vacation at Hawaii Maui no longer seems so distant to me, as I still remember those old days growing up in a low-income family.
