I have a few thousand Southwest Rapid Rewards Points remaining. I plan to grow my wife's Southwest points/account. What should I do with these points? Southwest does not allow points transfer from one person to another. Similar to United MileagePlus Dining Program, there is a Rapid Rewards Dining Program of the same nature.
Note: A credit card can not be included in both United MileagePlus Dining Program and Rapid Rewards Dining Program; it can be included in either one.
- As a Rapid Rewards Dining Member, you will earn three (3) points per dollar ($1.00) spent.
- As a new Dining Member, you will earn 300 bonus points with a dine of $25 and a completed restaurant review in the first 60 days after enrollment. This is in addition to the three (3) points per dollar ($1.00) earned for the dine.
- Rapid Rewards Dining Members earn 500 bonus points after earning 1,500 points through any combination of dines and reviews. (Other bonus points excluded.*)
- Rapid Rewards Dining Members will then earn 300 bonus points for every subsequent 1,000 points earned through any combination of dines and reviews. (Other bonus points excluded.*)
- Rapid Rewards Dining Members will earn ten (10) bonus points per submitted restaurant review.
- Upon enrollment, you may register up to five (5) major credit and/or debit cards to track your purchases. There are no special membership cards to carry, coupons to clip, or ID numbers to remember. Just use your registered credit and/or debit card to pay for your purchase and qualifying points will be automatically transferred to your Rapid Rewards account.
- Visit rapidrewardsdining.com to locate participating restaurants, bars, and clubs in your local area or upcoming travel destination.
- Please allow four to six weeks for points to post to your account.
- For more information about the Rapid Rewards Dining program, simply visit rapidrewardsdining.com or call Rapid Rewards Dining Member Services at (800) 771-7579.
- If you are not already a Rapid Rewards Member, enroll now.
- All Rapid Rewards Rules and Regulations apply.
*For example, the 300 bonus points earned for the New Member Bonus would not apply towards the 1,500 point requirement to earn these bonus points.
