Chase United 50000 (55000) Bonus Miles and "hidden" $50 Credit with MileagePlus Explorer Card

United started to email 50,000 bonus miles promotion since early July, as I have unused United miles in my United account.  (How to earn the extra 15000 United Airline miles needed for a free round-trip international airline ticket without Chase Sapphire Preferred card: methods A, B, C).  There is a hidden United 50,000 (55,000) bonus miles with $50 statement credit promotion.

Step #1
I logged into my United account with the expected 50,000 bonus miles promotion available

Earn more bonus award miles*

50,000 bonus miles after you spend $2,000 in the first 3 months your account is open.

5,000 bonus miles when you add an authorized user to your account and make a purchase with your Card during the first 3 months as a Cardmember.

10,000 bonus miles every calendar year you spend at least $25,000 on your Card. 

The authorized user does not have to use the card.  The authorized user is still eligible for the bonus when the user applies for his own Chase United MileagePlus Card in the future.  However, the user has to make user that he is no longer an authorized user of an existing Chase United card.

Try to redeem United miles for flight. The target promotion will show on the upper right hand corner.
