Hilton Los Angles San Gabriel Hotel Review, near Huntington Art Gallery and Botanical Garden

After the beach day at Santa Monica, we drove to stay Hilton Los Angeles - San Gabriel and to visit Huntington Museum and Botanical Garden which is only 10 minutes away from the Hilton hotel.  I expected my parents would like the Hilton Hotel because it is adjacent to a decent and clean Chinese shopping plaza.

What I did not expect is the cleanliness and the luxury look inside the hotel and room which are rated 3.5 stars in both TripAdvisor and American Airline redeem website, after the experience at the JW Marriott hotel at the Santa Monica.  Our two Hilton rooms were fully redeemed using my parent's AAdvantage miles.  Each of our hotel room came with complimentary WiFi, free to Hilton HHonors Gold and Diamond member.  My Citi Hilton Visa card has silver status.  I asked to pay for the WiFi, and was given free WiFi as a courtesy.  Our rooms were on the sixth floor, looking over the Hilton garden.

Our stays were satisfactory.

• For both Asian tourists in the Los Angeles - Pasadena - San Gabriel area, this Hilton hotel would serve as the excellent choice ($150 or 40,000 HHonors points per night) for overnight stay.  Restaurants on the adjacent plaza offer breakfast at 7 am.  Whenever my parents want to take a break at Los Angeles, this would be their perfect stay.
• For non-Asian tourists, the hotel still offers a safe and clean stay at a reasonable price or points.

After a restful night at the hotel, we toured Huntington Library, Art Gallery and Botanical Garden, then departed for Las Vegas from San Gabriel next day; the drive took 4 hours.
