Mediterranean Cruise - Greece, Crete, Chania

The lighthouse of the city
On our way from Sicily to Turkey, the cruise ship stopped at the port of Chania, in the island of Crete, for one day.  Crete is a place full of beautiful chapels, churches and monasteries, as it has been heavily influenced by the nearby Europe Catholicism, Ottoman Islamism, and Middle-East Christianity.  I was very sleepy that day, so stayed on the ship. My wife joined a local tour group, and managed to shoot some photos, with our then the first generation of Canon Rebel DSLR digital camera.
