What to do with remaining Asia Miles points? Redeem for free gifts

What is Asia Miles?
If you ask this question, then you do not have to worry about expiring Asia Miles. Like American Airline's oneworld airline program, or United Airline's Airline Partners and Star Alliance, Asia Miles is another partnership setup among several partners (airline, hotels ..etc). The airline partners are listed in here.    The group partnership are exclusive of each other that if airline partner A is partner of B, and B is a partner of C, A may not be a partner of C.  For example, Dragonair or Air China are both Asia Mile partners of American Airline, and American Airline and Hawaii Airline are both oneworld airline partners. But flying either Dragon Air or Air China can earn Asia Miles, but not American Airline miles for oneworld airline partner program.

How to earn Asia Miles?
It is a valuable program for those who travel to/from and within Asia often. Otherwise, American Airline's oneworld program and United's Star Alliance may offer more relevant benefits.  I earned Asia Miles points because  of my past flights via Cathay Pacific.  I plan to start earning American Airline miles next time flying Cathay Pacific, because I can participate in American Airline dining program to prevent the miles from expiring, or to redeem AA miles for various kinds of hotel and car rental options in the United States.

What offerings can be redeemed?
Options are listed in Asia Miles Redeem page. One economic round-trip HK - SFO flight ticket via Cathay Pacific requires 60K Asia Miles.  Each round-trip HK-SFO earns about 14.5K Asia Miles. And Asia Miles points has a 3-year life-time.  There was 14.5K Asia Miles to be expired in May 2013 in my account.  The points were about to be wasted away.  For the sake of curiosity and shipping convenience, I selected "Electronic and Accessories" category and redeemed points for two of the following items for my relatives in Asia, shipping and handling fee already included.  Friends or relatives in Asia does not need to show my Asia Miles ID card in order to receive the items.

7500 Asia Miles Points

7200 Asia Miles Points

For worldwide shipment and extra Asia Miles points available, I would redeem the following item
