Pinger has quietly launched Text-Free Desktop for Windows and Mac platforms. User can simply download and register for a free US or Canada phone number to send and receive text messages from family and friends. For existing Pinger Text-free mobile app users and working class, this is a big plus. For example, I can type and send text messages, photos and interesting web page URLs easily and quickly, while working on my laptop, without paying attention to his mobile phones.
