| Arriving at Sicily |
Two years ago, we joined a Mediterranean Cruise Vacation to visit Italy, Greece and Turkey.
It was also the first time that my wife did not have enough miles to redeem airline tickets from California to Italy. She accumulated her miles via business trips. Neither of us thought travel credit cards could have made a difference.

Sicily is a beautiful island with its own rich culture and at a significant geographical cross-point of Europe, Asia and Africa. The morning view from the balcony caught the first glimpse of our first stop at Sicily port. The blue sky, fresh air, calm sea and the clean harbor view reminded us that we were not in San Francisco or Asia. That is the famous Sicily near the shoe-shaped Italy.
