Santa Clara University (SCU) has been making efforts to cut utility expense and be more "green" by cutting carbon emissions. A draft of SCU Climate Neutrality Action Plan for 2009 is available for viewing. The report details proposed action items to pilot SCU community to larger emission and thus energy savings.
Santa Clara University, along with three Santa Clara businesses, recently won the Silicon Valley Power (SVP) Energy Innovator Awards for saving over 8.57 million kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity last year. Here's the news release.
